Meet Rising Star and Paragon Certified Professional Pet Groomer Ireland DeCoy of Pet Supplies Plus in Orange Park, Florida! We were overjoyed to see Ireland continue her studies and earn her Pet Groomer certification. She has such incredible talent and passion to match, and we know she’s got a bright future ahead!

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I chose dog grooming as a career in order to explore my creative boundaries. Combining my expertise of customer service and creativity in art, the possibilities are endless.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
What I enjoyed the most about the coursework and learning materials is that I was able to challenge myself not only physically but academically as well.
Where can we see your work?
I don’t currently have a social media account dedicated to my grooms but I will soon!
What are your future goals?
My future goals pertaining to grooming is to be the best groomer I can be. To create a safe environment for dogs to relax and be groomed in a timely manner.
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
My advice to any aspiring groomers would be to stick with it! Repetition is key. Grooming is an art form. Something you create with your hands and shape with your creative eye. Therefore you should treat it as such. No one is ever great at drawing, skating, sculpting etc. the first time they try it!
