Meet Rising Star and Paragon Certified Professional Groom Tech Connor Arant of Petsense in Murray, Kentucky! Connor really wanted something different from his career, and we’re so happy to see him thriving in the grooming world. He produces excellent work, has been a joy to teach, and we can’t wait to see what he does next!
His mentor, Suesan Watson, shares, “Connor has worked extremely hard through level 1. Even though he was part-time, he managed to stay focused and on track. He seems eager to learn so that he can prepare for the skills and showcase his best work. I am excited to see where this journey leads him going into the next phase of the program. Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I was severely unhappy within my Human Resources role, so I took a gamble on dog grooming, and 100% do not regret it!
What are your future goals?
To keep learning and become a certified dog groomer.
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Practice, practice, practice!
