Meet Rising Star and Paragon Certified Professional Groom Tech Miranda Wallace of Petsense in Cleveland, Tennessee! Miranda is a rockstar student and really took the time to make sure she understood the work before moving on. This has built a rock-solid foundation of knowledge, and we can’t wait to see her succeed!

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I wanted a career where I could work with dogs but also be able to express myself creatively. I also enjoy being able to contribute to a dog’s health and comfort. The transformation of a dog after grooming always puts a smile on my face.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I really enjoyed learning about a dog’s anatomy. This knowledge has helped me make sure that every dog is as comfortable as possible during their groom.

What are your future goals?
My goals are to improve my customer service skills and learn a variety of grooming techniques.
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
This career has taught me that you need to have a lot of patience, a willingness to never stop learning, and an understanding that grooming isn’t just about the aesthetics but also about the dog’s comfort and well-being.
